The Belgium-Luxembourg subsidiary, with 300 co-workers, exists for more than 50 years, and represents products such as bus shelters in the main cities, big billboards, digital panels in the Airports of Brussels and Luxembourg, in the Brussels metro stations, in more than 30 shopping malls and in about 100 Carrefour shops. And we also manage the shared bicycle systems Villo! in Brussels, Li bia velo in Namur and Vel’oh in Luxembourg.

You are key for our success
Putting forward our innovations, our expertise in out-of-home advertising, our services, and engaging with the advertising market is key in our development and success. Your core responsibilities therefore are explaining projects in a simple, comprehensive and visually attractive way, putting the right elements forward, and spreading the news through our different communication channels. As part of the Belgian marketing team, you are the driver of our external communication.
You have a clear mission
your mission as markcom executive is to be in the driving seats of our external communication, to develop awareness and engagement around all our activities, according to a clear communication strategy. This concerns at the one hand the Villo! communication, for our shared bicycle system in Brussels. At the other hand this also concerns our communication towards the advertising market. To accomplish this mission you can count on the enthusiastic collaboration and input of our Villo! Team, our marketing team and our communication agency.
You follow a clear path
After a training program to know all about our company, our products, our commercial strategy, our marketing and data projects, it’s up to you. Several projects will be assigned to you: the execution, follow-up and permanent evaluation of the Villo! communication plan, our presence and community development via social media, e-mailing and newsletter creation, and the development of documentation materials and presentations. You will also be part of the team permanently updating our website as part of our 360 communication approach. You will have the opportunity to be trained on the spot and to follow our internal webinars. This will hopefully trigger your curiosity and will lead to more sales support and marketing projects on your path.
You are the one with that unique mix of skills
We are looking for a person with a unique mix of external communication skills, commercial feeling and quick witted, who can make complicated things simple in a creative way, and write a comprehensive copy on it. But above all we are looking for someone curious and excited about all JCDecaux’ products and innovations and impatient to communicate around them. Of course you control as no other technical stuff, such as e-mailing programs, html, Photoshop, and you’re a pro in PowerPoint. But above all, you’re not afraid to learn how to use new tools. You are fluent in Dutch and French, both spoken and written. Good knowledge of English is also a must. You are hands-on, a strong coordinator, you don’t sleep before you have send your e-mailing in a highly attractive layout to the right target audience. You can clearly take responsibility. And above all, passion for what you do and the impact on the company is key. Your background We are looking for a high potential with a Bachelor's or Masters’ degree, with about 5 years of working experience, ideally in an advertising agency, in a media company, or an advertiser marketing department.
