One to two Lab or Research Technicians will directly report to this position depending on project loading.

Dimensions of Position :

The position will lead or support 2-3 projects globally, influencing value of new products sold each year and supporting existing Flow Control sales.

Key Result Areas :

  • 20% Designs and leads experiments to develop fundamental understanding of thermomechanical behaviour of the refractory product
  • 20% Improves numerical methodology to better represent the thermomechanical behaviour of the refractory product
  • 10% Improves the existing constitutive equations of the material behavior
  • 25% Designs, develops and validates new test methods
  • 15% Designs and procures new equipment for testing; writes standards for test methods and analysis
  • 10% Participates in internal R&D consortiums to steer R&D work and share ideas
