ICT Manager

Purpose of the position

• Responsible to develop, manage and maintain the ICT infrastructure and assets (laptops, printers, …) of the Company
• Responsible for the procurement and upgrade of all hardware, software, licensing and security of the Company’s systems
• Manage the various SLA’s with relative suppliers
• Provide and/or ensure User’s support and ensure highest level system availability as well as quick response in case of incidents
• Assist the various department and the IT Architect in developing innovative solutions to support the business and sales development as well as all mission critical applications
• Ensure highest security level and integrity
 

Main activities and responsibilities

• Define infrastructure strategy
• Provide regular industry and competitors benchmarking and technology watch
• Develop plans for future utilization of information technology services in the overall company program for the different AB locations, and this, within the financial resources ensuring the development of high quality, low-cost technology solutions aligned with the needs
• Manage IT vendors against their related service levels. Network components, firewalls, WIFI, network connection and telephony system are or will be under service management contracts
• Define ICT standards and ensure compliance across the company and various locations
• Accountable for maintaining effective internal controls over the processes and transactions under areas of responsibility including the completeness and accuracy of IT financial information and transactions, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and the effectiveness and efficiency of operations
• Work with a global team to provide application support that includes technical support, analyse and resolve software failures, troubleshoot technical problems, etc.
• Manage the Company’s website and social medias technology, reliability and availability
• Manage local hardware requirements such as PC’s, printers, laptops and smartphones
• Troubleshoot user’s issues and assist in the resolution, internally or through the Vendor’s helpdesk
• Responsible for patch, firmware and vulnerability management across IT infrastructure
• Provide User’s training and ensure highest level of User’s effective use of their equipment
• Define, track, and deliver on application performance and support indicators (KPIs) and metrics
• Manage User’s Profiles and access rights under strict defined policies
• Responsible for Horizon datacentres, co-location sites and DR recovery locations
• Own IT/Digital budget, coordinate and prepare budget forecasts and ensure that actuals are accurate and aligned with the company’s budgets and the financial set objectives

Requirements and qualifications
• Excellent knowledge of networks, security, Microsoft standards and services including Active Directory, Unified Communication and Sharepoint
• Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent
• Strong IT technical background combined with operational experience. (Airline industry background is a plus)
• Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in a similar position
• Thorough understanding of Finance processes and activities
• Excellent communication skills in English (other EU language are advantages)
• Excellent pedagogic skills
• Good negotiation skills
