FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER– with on-call duty Diagnostics (H/F)

Thanks to the exclusive partnership of Analis with leading brands, we occupy an important place on the Belgian market and have done so for almost 100 years. Our customers include hospitals and medical laboratories, industries, control laboratories and research centers, universities and colleges. We employ about 140 people who contribute daily to the development of our turnover of more than 50 million euros.

For its Technical Service Department, Analis is looking for a:

The job

  • You are responsible for repairing, maintaining and starting up in vitro diagnostics equipment for customers or in our laboratories.
  • You prepare the equipment for demonstrations or for implementation.
  • You are in charge of the management and the regular verification of the parts stock.
  • You draw up your daily activity reports in a precise and complete manner in order to ensure rigorous reporting to the technical team.
  • You communicate effectively with the different departments in order to guarantee an efficient quality service.
  • Your customers include private medical analysis laboratories and hospitals on the Belgian territory.

The applicant

  • You have a higher education in electronics and/or automation or you have equivalent experience;
  • Experience in blood analysis (immunology or hematology) is a real asset.
  • You are ideally bilingual French/Dutch. Bilingualism in French/English or Dutch/English may also be appropriate.
  • You are familiar with office tools (Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • You have a good analytical mind enabling you to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • You are able to work independently and within a close-knit and motivated team.
  • You are willing to follow technical trainings abroad; a knowledge of technical English is necessary.
  • You are pragmatic and have a sense of responsibility and impeccable work.
  • You are willing to provide extra-hour on-call service (one week out of five): Mo-Fr: from 4:45 pm to 10:00 pm; Sat: from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Sun: from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm.
