E-Commerce Operational Manager

Purpose of the job:

As an Air Belgium E-commerce Operational Manager, you will have the role and responsibility of looking after our company websites, of overseeing our sales through the internet and of managing our providers.

You will insure that the online ecommerce system is easy to use, speedy and secure and will help in market analysis and conversion rate through deep knowledge of Analytics.
 

Main activities and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall site content management
  • Manage Design and Developments of Website
  • Partner with digital agency to drive sales and customer acquisition
  • Oversee an external team of web and software developers
  • Design and Execute Roadmaps
  • Monitor web analytics and internal data sources
  • Monitor the good health of the platforms
  • Prepare reports and analyze conversion numbers
  • Help in developing SEO and Marketing Plans
  • Control budget evolution
  • Control Quality and Assurance

Requirements and qualifications

  • Educated to degree level in Digital Marketing or any related field
  • 3+ years of experience in digital / ecommerce
  • Experience in the Airline or Travel industry
  • Experience in Project and team management
  • Willingness for an hands on approach of operations
  • Strong operating knowledge of web design and web analytic
  • Strong operating knowledge of ecommerce platforms
  • Knowledge of CMS systems and web architecture
  • Knowledge of Multi-Attribution modelling, Bid, A/B testing of adverts, Google AdWords
  • Knowledge of Airline distribution model
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Flemish and Chinese are an asset
