AREA SALES MANAGER (M/F) - For our Life Science department

The Job

  • You contact and visit clients and potential clients in the Flemish part of Belgium, discover their needs and propose them the Analis solutions of our related Life Science department
  • You work close together with the Application Engineers and Product Managers to come to a correct product proposal;
  • You are responsible for the commercial contacts with the clients and potential clients in your region and market;
  • You negotiate with your clients about prices and delivery conditions in order to create sales value according to the company strategy.
  • You present new products to existing customers and keep them updated about promotions;
  • You propose marketing events in collaboration with the Product Managers and the communication department;
  • You inform your Sales Manager about new opportunities in your market and inform the Product Managers about opportunities , new market developments and competition;
  • You report on a daily basis your activities, market information and forecast in the CRM system;

The Candidate

  • You have a Scientific degree (Bachelor level or higher) in Bio / Industrial Engineering or in biochemistry; Agro food
  • Sales experience in B2B environment is an advantage as well as a good knowledge of the Pharma Biotech World. An experience in a laboratory environment is also an asset.
  • Dutch speaking and a good knowledge of French. English is mandatory;
  • You are passionate, enthusiastic and a real entrepreneur.  You demonstrate your motivation;
  • You are a good relationship builder, have strong commercial and communication skills;
  • You are highly committed, result oriented with an analytical mind set;
  • You can work independently without close supervision;
  • You are self-motivating with a strong drive, innovative and creative.
